Hoku Global Co., Ltd. (“Hoku”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides advertising, PR and marketing planning, brand consulting, event and promotion production, and influencer marketing services. In the course of providing these services, we collect and process personal information about our clients (brand representatives), content creators and influencers, and visitors to our website. We handle all personal information in accordance with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the “APPI”) and other applicable laws and regulations.   • Joint use with group companies (including Hoku Scandinavia ApS)

7. Joint Use

We may engage in the joint use of personal information with our group companies on the following basis:
  • Categories of personal information jointly used: name, affiliation, contact details, transactional information, etc.
  • Scope of parties involved in joint use: Hoku Global K.K. and its group companies (including Hoku Scandinavia ApS)
  • Purposes of joint use: as set out in Section 4 of this Policy
  • Party responsible for management: Hoku Global K.K.

8. Cross-Border Transfers

Where necessary for our business, we may transfer personal information to service providers or group companies located outside Japan (for example, Hoku Scandinavia ApS in Denmark or cloud service providers in the United States). We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, after which we will promptly delete or anonymise it. Where applicable laws (such as tax, corporate, or labour laws) require retention for a specified period, we will retain the relevant records for that period (typically 5 to 10 years following the end of the relevant relationship).
